alright I was helping my brother change his starter and when I was tightening the bolt for the ground that attaches to the starter the little nub with the thread straight up broke off. Now I can't use the wiring ground obviously because it doesn't have anywhere to go on. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? I was thinking about getting a machine shop to put a new nub in with a longer thread but I don't know how if they would do that. It's a brand new starter but that thread was made out of copper which is weird. This is the weirdest/worse thing that can ever happen.

Take starter off and go back to part store, and they will give you a new one....

I actually bought this starter from someone and he only put a few hundred miles on it. Would they let me do that or no way?

hahaha you could ghetto rig the crap out of it. Drill a hole in the center of the broken bolt, screw a thinner bolt it, and then put the ground wire on and tighten it I don't recommend this, but it you're that ghetto, handle it.
