the injector is new, the correct spark plug is new, the coil works, the plug has fire when pulled out of cylinder and the motor is cranked. when the motor is running it has a miss. when i unhook the other 5 injectors one at a time it runs worse but when i unhook the #2 injector it runs the same. i hooked a noid light to the injector wires and it blinks. i swapped two coils and the same thing no fire on cylinder #2. i just bought the car for 500.00 on sunday and the owner said it has a miss. the car has 155,000 miles and has a build date of 4/93. Working on the assumption this new injector is brand new and you are the one that bought it. Sometimes new injectors will be stuck in place when new. With the car running try tapping on the injector "hat" with a screw driver handle or something like that. This may free it up and allow it to start working properly.

Injectors out of the box stick more often than work. Rapping them usually frees them up as Nistech said.

my friend has the same issue. try checking the wiring from the speed sensor. it could be shorted out or arcing if its lost the plastic covering. check it out and see if it's it.
