I own a J30, 1993. I had a dead battery and after that time the radio has never worked. I bought another radio EOM and it still does not work. It is completely dead-no power at all. Any helps?

Welcome to NICO!!!

Are you getting power to the radio unit? Have you checked the fuse?

Hi! Yes, checked all fuses and they appear to be fine.

How do i verify that power is getting to the radio? Is there only one fuse box?

I just got quoted $2250 for the EOM radio new. For that price they must have monks fabricate every freakin part by hand in a cleanroom...

Do the accessory lights on the radio work?

I don't know if you're trying to make fun of us but I do think eom and oem differ. I'm a manufacturing engineer for an international manufacturing company and I use EOM to denote equipment of original manufacturer. This would be made at the original production facility. An OEM part will match the original part but isn't always made at the original plant. Not sure how widely those terms are used.
