So my driver's side power window stopped working the other day, and when I took a closer look it appears the window is off it's track. It's out of the weather stripping and I can't get it back in by hand. So my question is, do I need to remove the door panel to fix this? If so, how do I do it and what else should I do to make sure this doesn't happen again? Thanks ahead of time, I appreciate it.

Most likely you need a new window regulator.

Ok sounds reasonable, thank you for your reply. By the way, do you or anybody else reading this know where I could find a manual for the 1993 G20? I looked at the list in the sticky that's in this forum and there is pretty much every manual except 93.

For the g20, the 91-96 model manual will be ok to use for figuring out the window problem- the major differences in the G series occured for 1993.5 model where engine was upgraded to OBD2 specs and other upgrades to interior/exterior happened. Easiest way to tell if yours is a 93 vs 93.5 is the 1993.5 added the passangerside airbag

Welcome to Nico broc5k

Qship96 is right it is most likely a regulator. You will need to remove the panel and remove the bolts securing the window to the regulator then you will want to inspect the track to see what caused the window to go off the track. This may be caused by a binding regulator or something stuck in the window run track.

Here is an image of what you need to take out to get the door panel off. Here is an image of the setup of what is inside the door

Below is the link for the 94 G20 ESM I don't have 93 sry

94 G20

Check in the BF section for anymore information although the early G20s have very vague manuals. Good luck.

Awesome! I will check it out when I get a chance. For the clips in the switch panel, will I need anything in particular or will they just pull right out? Thanks for the diagram, that helps a ton!

Ideally you should use a tool something like this with a forked tip a flathead screwdriver is not very kind to older body retaining clips and most of the time it tends to destroy them, leading to an increased likelihood of noises.
