theres 2 different M/C's one for ABS and one not iirc. one is a little bigger. thats why they asked.

edit: he meant clutch and i was thinking brake(too early for last nights escapades)

you may need to "bench bleed" it. fill it up with fluid while out and then install and bleed. theres been a couple times that has worked for me on my 240 and suby.

and there are 2 different pad sizes between ABS and non ABS one uses smaller M/C size. i unfortunately had the odd hard to find one on my one 240(91 LE non hicas).

i believe he meant clutch master cylinder, don't see why would there be 2 1 for abs 1 for non.

take out the clutch damper, it goes between the hard line from the master and the softline from the slave, just take out the whole unit and reroute the hardline to the soft.

http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=251959 <<how to on that.

after that, try bleeding the clutch again.

If you replaced both master and slave than you still have air bubbles, bypass the dampner and bleed it well!

the dampener is there for a reason. if you bypass this, the clutch feel will stiffen up and stresses the clutch master cylinder more. you have to bleed it for a long time.

open clutch master cylinder. put fluid in. close master cylinder lid. open bleeder valve. pump 2-4 times. close bleeder valve. drive.

No it doesn't. Bypass that b****! I had the exact same problem before I bypassed mine. Now bleeding it is a cinch.

That's not really right at all.You can leave the master cylinder lid open while you bleed it... and you are going to want someone to pump the pedal with the bleeder valve CLOSED, then hold their foot to the floor while you crack the bleeder valve open. Close the bleeder valve, and start pumping again. Keep doing this til there are no more bubbles... then do it like 2x more haha. Make sure you keep enough fluid in the reservoir so you don't run dry and suck in air.
