1992 240sx base model with an s13 sr20det redtop swap done by previous owner. The car is running a tad rich, it has a rough idle at around 500-600 rpm, and sometimes it will stall if I have the a/c on and come to a stop, or if I hit boost and comes to an abrupt stop.
The swap is pretty much stock, with an xs atmospheric bov, small fmic, it even has stock exhaust piping up to the cat.
My question is how can I fix this annoying rough idle and running rich problem? Gas mileage isn't horribly bad, and it runs fine through the rev-range, but it does have a hesitation around 1500-3000 rpm because (according to the PO), it needs a new turbo to manifold gasket. What do you guys thing I should try?
EDIT: Forgot to add that the check engine light comes on once in a while but only during startup, then after about 30seconds to a minute it goes away. Dunno if that helps. Thanks for any replies
