I installed my Silvia steering wheel and now I have no horn. I have checked the fuse and the relay. What else could be the problem?

how are the contacts at the back of the steering wheel? you should see a few copper colored rings at the back. are they touching the column?

There was only one copper ring under the horn button and I made sure that it was making contact to the column. Still no horn though.I'm gonna see if the rings from my OEM steering wheel will work.

well the horn stuff is pretty simple. That copper colored ring has power and the horn connects it to the ground.

Then on the horn button, is it grounding properly? There's gonna be power comin from the ring up to the horn button, from there the horn button grounds to the steering column. I guess you could pop on the steering wheel minus the button and take a wire comin from the ring to the nut and see if that activates your horn. If not, the ring is not making contact.

I really hate to bump such an old old thread, but I have never seen a solution to this on any forum. I'm about to install mine and would like to know if anyone has a definite fix for it.
