1993 240sx se : (iginition coil problems)

Hi I just bought another 240sx.Yeah!But it wont start.The guy I bought it off of thought the ignition coil might be the problem but I am not sure cause I found that he replaced the distributor and rotor as well as the ignition module that bolts right up to the igniton coil.Also when I was trying to jump start the car I noticed that the headlights would not come up when I turned them on but all of the other lights did and then I tried the swith that makes them stay up and it is getiing stuck you have to pull it out then the push it again and then pull it all the way out.I checked the wires going to the headlights and they are hooked up and then I checked all the light fuses inside the car and they were all good.
