Installed injectors and went to start the car.It does the same thing, except it does it ALL the time. The car is plainly misfiringSO pissed, probably the used injectors that I bought were shotty. How to check resistance to make sure the injectors are good?

Also, can a fuel pump be bad and cause misfire.I hear the fuel pump priming the fuel, but still can it be shotty?

Check injector resistance by unplugging them and putting your probes across the 2 terminals. Lookin for mid teens ohms resistance evenly across the board.

This is so frustrating.Anymore relays or fuses related to the fuel system?I basically busted all my old injectors when I went to pry them out, and now these injectors seem even worse.Guess it is time for a junkyard run for those 93-97 altimas Next weekthanks for the answer above, I need to get a good multimeter

Resistance checkall my injectors are at 11.3 with the exception of the 4th one at 11.7-12.0Could this be the culprit? One injector?also just to make sure i have it on the right setting, I put it on the horseshoe type thing and it made a noise on my voltmeter when the two prongs were properly connected

Your resistance is fine. Electrically your injectors are fine. You need to get a noid light and check to see if the injectors are getting a pulse from the ecm. You can pick up a noid light at autozone. You get one for a GM with small terminals. test each injector one at a time while the car is running. They should all have a steady flash.

Thanks for the reply you are the best. The thing is, when I went to start the car, it started but was hesitating and misfiring profusely. So I shut the car off and checked it out, NO LEAKS.Today I measured the resistance, and above was that I got.The thing is this, when I pulled the injectors, a lot of fuel was still in the fuel rail and i sprayed the fuel rail with intake cleaner to clean out the gunk.I thought it hesitated because more fuel needed to get around, but now when I go and try to start the car, all it does is want to turn over and it won't start. It is confusing the crap out of me, because i have spark, and i have fuel because i hear the fuel pump pump.I even filled up on 93 V POWER for the hell of it, which cost me a penny in itself! Can you explain how to test with that autozone, ECM thing?I am going to REPOSITION the fuel rail because when i put the fuel rail on, the gasket even though there is no leaks, might have hindered one of the injector nozzles causing the misfire, which is what I am hoping.thanks

Well if you are suspicious of your install most definitly check that out first and get it straightened out. How long have you had it running since you completed the job? maybe you still just have fuel soaked plugs and they cant fire? The test with the noid lite is very simple you get the car running and pull one injector connector and plug this lite into it. Wath the lite it should have a nice consistant steady flash while the car is running, if ok plug it back in and move on to the next injector. See if any of them dont flash or have an irregular pattern to the flash.

It ran, but was VERY HARD to start. It kept turning over and popping prior, but did not start. Then I gave it some gas, and it finally started and kept an idle as long as I kept the throttle on. Just plain misfire, I'll check all that out when i have time thursday and report back and get the noid lightthanks again
