hi guys i have been serching and searching for a reson why my ka24de isdrowning in gas sometimes when i push the pedal to the fullest normally qhen im going to go on and uphill and i follr it it drowns in gas and it doesnt respond its like a major loss of power (drag) its my daily driver so im in desperate need to fix it. I have changed the following:Fuel lifter( upgraded to 300ZX TT fuel lilter), Sparks NGK, theres no oil in the sparks, theres spark in them so they burn fuel, dont know about the injectors if there good or bad?, not running turbo stock N/A(plannign on going in a few years) dont know if its the fuel pressure regulator, cleaned the throttle plate with carb and achoke cleaner, cleaned the IACV with carb and choke cleaner too, TPS is working, running with out air filter just the housing and a net so debrees dont go into, disconnected all of the emission hoses and plug them all up except for the necesary. Dont know what else it could be ????HELPP!!

You may have leaking fuel injectors. To test them, unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold and pull off the entire assembly. Keep the fuel hoses still connected and don't remove any individual injectors. Also keep the electrical connectors on the injectors. With the assembly now away from the intake, turn the ignition key to the run position WITHOUT STARTING THE ENGINE. Now observe each injector to look for leaks. There should be no drips.

Make sure you have at least 4 spare insulator rings for the injectors in case some are damaged during rail removal.

just buy stock ka injectors if its just a daily...it could be injectors leaking o-rings or the actual injector(you have to ohm out the pins on the injector) it could also be maf related too since your not running a filter...you can clean the maf...hope this heps

i took out the fuel rail and turn the key all the way to on, and then checked to see if some of them were leaking i just saw a little bit of gas and i mean a little in two of them. Thats how I tested them.
