1993 240sx hybrid engine

:hey guys got a delema..i jus bought a 1993 240sx with no engine or trans. i started to reseach on a alternate engine to run my s13 , my cousin wants me to go with a 1jz-gte engine and transmission, he plans to help with tech support , parts and some engine work ( he has a 1995 240 with a 2jz engine and transmission ) but i was leanin towards da third gen q45 witch has ( 340 hp) being that my hp range is high 300 to low 400...with a manual trans in , i own too cars already this s13 will b my weekend beater car, ( q45 engine are dirt cheap ) so im trin 2 keep cost down ...please some ideas.....nissan gods and gurus please forgive ,
