1993 240sx HUD cluster not working

Okay so my heads up display works on and off and its a bad thing being that I'm a bit of a led foot and I like to know my spped my friend said there's a wire that needs to get resoldered and I dont wanna go through the trouble of doing that, anyone have any other suggestion who may have experienced this problem

if the connection is jacked, you're gonna have to reconnect the wires if you want to use it, plain and simple. although if it's an HUD, they do have a tendency to fail though.
