1993 240sx Dummy lights

This started today. Everytime i fire my car up the brake light and battery light come on and i can hear a clicking noise. when i put it in gear and start to give the car gas the lights go away. it doesnt seem to affect driving im just curious why it would be doing so. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

usually the two of those going off is a sign of your alternator going but...it goes away? Is there any difficulty starting the car or is is the sound kind of like a buzzing kind of sound?

actually yes there is a buzzing noise. the noise and lights go away when i drive but when i stop it comes back again. the lights only show up when i shift out of park. its an automatic.

I had that. My alternator was going out.
