1993 240sx convertible no spark

alright, we today changed the ignition coil, wired everything up. we seem not to be getting spark from it. we are lost and cant figure out whats going on. if anybody has experienced please help out. we just cant seem to figure out whats up with this.

my fault, i figured people who frequent the technical forums would know i been posted almost the last two weeks or so. its a 1993 240sx convertible. the car wont start, we thought it was the fuel pump. but its working properly the car shut off while it was being driven. we then figured it could have been the ignition coil, so that was replaced. for osme reason we arent getting any spark.

Have you done a swap on the car recently or did it just stop giving spark? Also is the lack of spark at the coil or at the distributor?

no swap, the car is stock with 150 thousand miles or so on it. we installed a aftermarket ignition coil. and we have no idea whats up with the car.
