I know a desent amount about clutches and clutch problems. I have NEVER ran into this problem before.
Yes, I know how to properly bleed my clutch system. *Yes, everything was fine with the car before hand *
Story time.I took out my transmission yesterday and inspected the clutch and replaced my throw out bearing. Re-installed everything back to torque specs. When I inspected my clutch...it was looking in GREAT shape almost as if I just put it in. I inspected the presure plate, once again all good. Same goes for the flywheel.
So I go ahead and install the throw out bearing. I pull out of the shop and drive it around the shop. I notice that it is not grabing at all. Almost seems as if the clutch is out (but I know its not). I cant push on the gas more than like | | that much, or it will slip. Also it grabs different.
When I first pulled it in, it was grabing fine, shifted fine, everything. It just needed a new throw out bearing....
Any Ideas is more than I have. Only thing I can think it can be is that the throw out bearing is not releasing..
