1993 240sx: Chainsaw sound comming from engine

Ok so it doesn't sound exactly like a chainsaw but it does sound like there is a metal chain being dragged over metal inside the engine and I have no idea why.

If need be I will post some video of it.

the only metal chain in the engine is the timing chain...is anything running against it?

have you been able to indentify the area of which the sound is coming from?

i saw a timing chain that sawed through the timing chain aluminum cover

the lower chain guide disentegrated and the chain sawed big hole into cover so coolant leaked in.
