1993 240sx Brake Pads Going Bad?

My daily drive is to drive on the interstate 10 and deal with stop and go traffic just about every morning. This one day I get to my destination and have to find parking around the neighborhood, which consisted of uphill, downhill, and level road with many stop signs. After an hour of driving around looking for freaking parking, I start coming to a stop and start hearing some grinding noise. This started happening every couple stops, then just went away.

I finally find a parking space and come back about 8 hours later. Drive home with no weird noises coming from my brakes. Been about 2-3 days already since and no grinding noises have come from coming to a stop.

My Setup is Project Mu B-Force Brake Pads in the front with Brembo Rotors that are cross drilled and slotted. Yea I know, I gotta ditch the rotors. Eventually I will. I think have about 30,000 miles on the pads.
