1993 240SX AT Diagnostic connector location

Stuck in 3rd gear mode. took it to the shop; they want to test the AT (flash codes) but can't locate the Instrument Warning panel module where the connector is supposed to be.

1. Does anyone know where the AT test plug is (for transmission codes),

2. Where can I get one?

3. Do I need it to cure the 3rd gear mode?
