Is it normal for a 240 to jerk when you get back on the gas?

For example , I'm in 2nd gear accelerating, then take my foot of the gas. When i get back on the gas the car jerks once. I can make it jerk multiple times if i just step on the peddle a few times doing 1/4 throttle each time i hit the peddle. I have to step on it really lightly to avoid the jerk. It jerks really bad i do this in 1st gear. Also it doesn't seem to do this in higher gears and speed.

I don't remember my car ever being like this. I'm thinking its the timing, but i don't have a timing light to check it.

Could possibly be an EGR issue. But may also be a TPS problem. Check both. Easier to do the TPS checks per the FSM first.

Me and teknodude worked testing the car today.

We tried backprobing the TPS sensor and got normal readings, which were 5.12 V, 0.47V. I tried unplugging one of the EGR vaccum hoses, but there was no change, can still feel that strong torque. Hope the EGR isn't an issue, because many parts of the egr system were replaced.

It's can also be caused by a sloppy drive train i.e. worn motor and transmission mounts along with the rear subframe bushings.
