need help solving this electrical problem

1993 240 sx conv replaced all injectors rebuilt 3 months ago also replaced knock sensor, and temp sensor

was running great getting over 33 mpg on the highwaywas driving stopped then restarted engine running rough

all cyl getting spark #4 injector when discon does not change how engine runs,

this did this before at the time i replaced knock sensor about 3 months ago but sometimes the faulty inj would change holes ie it might be #1 or 3 ,4 or 2.

i think i am missing an electrical short somewhere

any suggestion i just love this little ragtop

any codes? try to swap a known good distributor, probably u have faultyphotelectric device there or the slit plates is loose, or maybe there's debris inside. Make sure u got good signals at injector connectors w/ the use of noid light.

If u got pulse at connector , then u have a bad injector. Code 45 means injector leak. So, it's either a bad injector or a bad maf. Try to swap injectors, see if it will change cylinders. Try to use a stethoscope, compare each injectors when it's clicking, they should the same. If u don't have a stethoscope, try a long screwdriver.

you mentioned that the problem started when u turned off the car and then when u started it again it was running rough? it could be the injector nozzle o ring. is the car smoking at all? i had a similar problem when i put 370's on my ka and i used advance autopart orings for the stock injectors around $8 for each injector kit. the first time i would start the car with the injectors it ram beautiful def felt power gain but as soon as i would turn off the car and restart it i ran realy rough and smoked like a chimney i think it was because the leftover pressure would blow the orings apart(if anyone plans on swithcing to 370's use sentra ser orings i think their around 50cents each at nissan there much thicker so are less likely to blow)

yes i got all my inj from advance auto parts.

it does smoke allitle like you said.

also what i am noticing is that the car does not start right up without touching the gas allitle.

Try to use a carb cleaner when removing & installing injectors, u will find it's easier to come out & in. But vaseline will do. Yeah, I agree w/ Slideways13.4 u could have cut o-ring there. Good luck.
