My friend, that window is heavily glue to the car....is not going to come out easily....you need a special tool, a window seal cutter....you can get them online fairly cheap...kind of a wire with handles on the ends to run along the seal and separate the window from the car.....some people have used a xacto knife and got results ...but is up to you.....

Is not glued as in "permanent" glue, .....the windows sealant creates a strong bond that holds the glass to the car window...all auto glass is like that, even the front and rear windshield, it doesnt just sits there, needs to be secured. Why dont you just take the old tinting on the windows..........??

yeah, i'm going to wind up doing that, its just a beeeotch... its that old kinda purple tint, looks so bad, and its so stuck... i think there is special stuff to remove it though... i'll have to look into it.. i new the front an dback were like that, just figured the sides would be different...

thanks man

Proffesional use a steamer that softens the tint and makes it easier to pull, I used windex and razor blade to do my complete rear window, you think doing the side windows is hard?? trying taking the full rear piece by piece, ... it kept breaking off because it was old and had to be careful with the heating elements .....took me like a week..........

This would be useful information to anyone interested in having the 180sx badging. I think that would be just a little bit unique but there's no way I'm paying for them, haha. Anyone know if it is very expensive to have them exchanged professionally?

I was going to have mine profesionally taken off before my paint job, it was going to run around 30 dollars each....included in the price was the reinstallation....not very expensive but change my mind against it...I didnt think it was worth it and the paint job came out great anyway.....
