Ok so I have done a stock dual cam to dual cam swap because the old one clocked out. I am getting fuel, it cranks and has compression; however, there is no spark when the distributor is in the head.
When I was troubleshooting this problem I figured forgot to do a ground or forgot to connect something but when I finally gave in and thought distributor is toast I took a spare and connected it to the harness and coil and viola strong spark on all 4. I go to install good distributor and no spark. I then found out the other dist was good (frustrated lightly at this point)
I have checked the grounds, connections, changed ecu's and will probably change harness if I get too aggravated but I want to know what the techs think about sparking dist when not in the head but no spark installed?
