For sale 1992 Nissan 240 sx se convertable Red with balck top. The car has 156 k miles on it. With a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder. I just did a new head gasket, timming chain, seals, injector, and complete tune up less than a 1000 miles ago. This car has a automatic transmission ( Nissan only made the convertable in an automatic) I have new 18" Kazara rims on it with nankang low profile tires. ( I also have other rims for it if you are intrested in them) I have new cross drilled rotors and brakes on it, intake and the radiator is new too. I have an alpine cd/mp3/wma/ radio in it with Ipod adaptor. You can plug your ipod into it through the glove box and control it from the radio. 10 " JL sub in a box with a 500 watt amp.(I also have other subs if you are intrested in them.) Oil pressure gauge and volt gaguge in there as well. The rear window on the top is new and the top works perfect, no leaks or any of that crap. There is fender damage in the front but it was like that when I bought it. New fenders are 100 bucks each from certifit in raliegh. The car runs great. I'm looking at getting either a truck for a bike so I new to sell it for a down payment. Most of you know these cars a popular for drifting. I've taken it to piedmont dragway a few times and it ran in the high 11's low 12's. I hate to see it go but everything has it's price. I also have a few other small parts for it that I will Include. I'm asking $3000 firm. This is more than a fair price b/c Nissan only made 4600 convertables in the three years they produced them. It would be had to find another one in this good of shape any where close to here. One other thing; most of these engines get a bad ticking sound from the timing chain. When replacing the chain you need to take the guide rails out because they cause the noise and really serve no purpose. In fact if you bought new heads there is no spot for the guide rails to be inserted at.I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THE GUIDE RAILS OUT WHEN I DID THE HEAD GASKET/ TIMING CHAIN. So you you will not find another 240 around that runs this quite. If you are intrested please let me know and if not please pass this meaage around for me. Thanks Wyatt

Sorry to see that you're selling the car.

You all know that I love all my 'vert brothers and sisters... But I gotta bust your chops just a bit here.

Nissan made 2327 'verts in 1992 and 8320 'verts total.

Whaaaa??? Before I raise the BS flag... I'm just going to assume you are talking about a 1/8th miles track rather than a 1/4 mile track. Or perhaps the track is straight down the side of a mountain? Or you forgot to mention that you actually have a RB26dett in there? Am I correct about it being a 1/8th mile track?

Anyhow... sounds like a nice deal on a nice car. Good luck with your sale.

yea it's an 1/8th mile not a 1/4 mile. I wish My car could run that on a 1/4 mile. Thanks for the update on the # of verts too. My sources were wrong.
