1992 sentra xe 5 speed problem

My sentra wont go into 5th gear and 3rd gear is making noise . I found a donor car but its an se-r and mines a xe. Will the 5 speed out od a 1992 sentra se-r work in my 92 sentra xe?

Nope, different transmissions. There are tons of 1991-1994 sentra's around at pull a part etc...Should be able to pull a transmission really cheap.
