Car: 1999 Civic EX Coupe

Post

Hey guys this is my first post. I currently drive a '99 Civic 5speed EX coupe and i am looking for a 90-96 Q45 to purchase as a second car, more or less something to really fix up. I found this '92 q45 on ebay that is for sale on ebay, i do know about the timing chain problems the 90-93 q45s have and when i called and asked if this q had the chains done they did not know, they said they got it and all the cars they sale from trade ins from local dealerships and they just test to see if they drive...heres the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...h=005

should i try to get it? thanks for the help

I saw that one, but I think the blue 94 is a better buy. The 92 has several rust spots and there's something wrong with the fit of the driver's door. The 94 won't need chain guides, and the driver's seat, while ripped, is in much better shape.

i wouldnt do it... That car was not taking care of. The main thing about a Q is there are going to be alot of problems if its not taken care of. And there are going to be problems even when its taken care of. Reduce the amount of stress you get and try not to buy a car without investigating it too well.. Dont be in a rush and BE very carefull with Ebay.. PPl make those Q45s run for a month so u buy it and 30days later... You got a putt-putt. So all in all .. DONt get it.> try getting one from someone on here... you have a better chance of getting a better car. Not saying on here is perfect.. Just saying, at least these ppl on here can tell you something about the car.

Also if you have some time.. i want you to take a look at this thread.. zerothread?id=195584 this is recently when i was trying to buy a car.. Alot of suggestioins were made in here and it helped me.. Hopefully it helps u

cha ching $$$$

Just add $10,000 to the selling price of that vehicle. If that's good for you---do it.
