Have the chain guides been replaced?

We don't have much of an aftermarket for our cars, some , but not much.

You don't NEED the active suspension, but I've only heard good things about a completely rebuilt one. (Mine is a '91 Standard model)

IF there is a good Infiniti mechanic in the area, you could get the chain guides done for less than $3,000. (You will probably need belts, hoses, tensioners, plugs, thermostat, water pump, and a gaggle of other stuff ot get the engine running great. The active suspension will run another $3,000 to rebuild to as-new specs with all the other various suspension items.

When you are done, the car will run amazing, but only be worth about $2,500.

It's not like other cars, you will be amazed by the performance and ride from such a big car. The problem is, you can't stop putting money in the car once you start. I have put over $4,500 in Lola, and she was in great running condition when I got her last year. If she was an active car, I would have put another $3,000 easily.

You might want to find one in running condition, or ask your buddy to give it to you.

I am about ready to sell my 93. Its a strong runner 215K. Beige color, one lifter sticks once in a while, the PS squeels on start up and then immdiately quiets, transmission started to not shift from 1st last spring...then it went normal (dirty contact?). Shifts perfectly (far better than my 94). Seats have patch repairs (looks ok). Let me know if you are near Philly. Peter 610 644-5036
