Im currently looking for some who has experience in replacing a VH45DE engine into a Q45, so i can to ask several questions. Right now i took out the bad engine and as of now i have got the new engine with 50 to 60 thousands miles on it. Iam stuck on putting in the transmission from the original engine into the new engine. Before you start saying things like your doing it wrong then let me finish. When i install the transmission into the VH45DE engine it goes in but the torque converter is stuck and wont turn. Now if you broken down this engine before you should know that to screw in the torque converter to fly wheel you need to go underneath behind the flywheel where you screw it in with bolts (it has 4 bolts to screw in). But evertime i do that the flywheel gets pinched between the black metal gasket and the torque conveter. And here is another problem when i manage to put the torque converter in the transmission turn it till its in all the way its fine until i try to put it together with the engine then it doesnt rotate freely as it did when the transmission was separated from the engine. Now i even tried turning the crank to see if it turns and even then it doesnt budge. It feels like if it was locked. That maybe due to the flywheel being pinched if is then why is it pinched? If not that then what?Plus i just discovered now that when i seperate the trans and motor the torque converter come out of place not only that but when i put the torque converter in it starting not to turn anymore as it use to before. I think my Father damaged it when he tried putting together in hoping he can fix it. I think he may of damaged it. Currenty its just me and him working on my car so far everything went well until we try putting it together again please i need help, and of course i put automatic transmission fluid in the torque converter. Please respond ASAP
