I just bought a 1992 nissan stanza and it ran and drive great the first 2 days i owned it. the third day it started stuttering around the 2500 rpm mark as if it were out of gas, regardless of what gear you are in. it only has this problem when it is warmed up, not when it is cold. . please help me.

If i remember correctly the stanza's ecu has a self diagnostic mode just like on the 240 that requires you to turn a screw a certain direction and a couple of lights will flash so many times to give you a number or code for a certain sensor that might be bad. I would recomend trying that first, it's pretty simple and easy to do.

I know this topic is a few months old, but mine is doing the same thing at 2500-3000 rpms. Did you ever find a solution? When I step on it, the stuttering goes away. I know the transmission is dying, but I can put it in neutral and still reproduce the stuttering. Maybe a clogged injector? My ignition is brand new so I know that's not the problem.
