Post

Hi,

Just bought a 1992 Nissan Maxima SE and the fuse box label is missing. The clock and the cigarette lighter don't work, so figure it's a fuse. Have pulled ALL the fuses, but none of them appear to be burnt. Would help if I new which was the right one so I could replace it, then work back from there if it's still an issue.

Any help appreciated (ie pic of the label )

Cheers,

Adam

Cigarette lighter is the 15A fuse second from the bottom on the right hand column.

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/maxima/1994/el.pdfYou can find a full diagram on page 9. It's kind of a pain to read and not as compact as the original label on the fusebox cover, but it's still got the same info.

Also, page 103 has a specific wiring diagram for the cigarette lighter, including a cleaner view of the fuse box and fuses that affect the lighter.

Welcome to NICO, by the way.

Thank you for that, wiring diagram looks good. I can assume then, that the '92 and the '94 have the same fuse box layout?

I'll check it out tonight!

Cheers

Yeah, it's the same for both years.
