When its cooler outside like it is today (50-60 degrees) my car breaks up bad if i lay into the gas hard. It happens about 4500-5000rpm and its like im hitting a rev limiter.

Ive tried

- replacing coilpacks- checking for boost leaks- Swapped out MAF's and cleaned my old MAF- reGapped plugs to .30- reset my ecu- disconnected knock sensor- reset timing

the only leak i have anywhere in the car is Power Steeing and i know thats not anything to be concerned with. Its a bone stock setup. T25, 7psi, SMIC... Ive been struggling for about 3 weeks with this now. Someone told me to replace the plugs completely, and someone else told me it could be CAS going bad, I do have a slight misfire at idle, but the thing is, when i roll into the gas easy and build full boost, it rarely does the breaking up deal, and when its really warm out, like it was in the 80s here the other day, the car was beautiful all day long. I'm totally lost because im still pretty new to the SR20DET.

Thanks

Off the top of my head I dont really know what it would be. The plugs you got in it are important shouldnt be running anything other then NGK in it. Also the CAS idea might be onto something. Take a good look at the connections make sure they are clean[no corrocion build up on the terminals inside] Also look at how the male and female terminals fit together should be good and tight

i got an idea about plugs too, my buddy, another nissan tech that i was finally able to get ahold of today, drove my car, and said it feels like the spark is getting blown out, which might be possible because im spiking at 9-11 psi and holding at 7 or 8, if i roll into it slow, it wont break up bad if at all.. im going to bring the gap down to .28 tomorrow hopefully that will help. On a side note, when we re gapped the plugs, it actually got worse, i just didnt notice it till now cause its been warm the past few days. Maybe my spark is being blown out. But reguardless, i dont have many options left so it should be resolved this week.

Thanks for the prompt response!
