This is my girl friend's car. Since she bought it, it never ****ted right. IT's not to bad for me because when the cruise controle is on it drops in last gear or third if I have the overdrive off. But It's really anoying for her since she has to drive 1h30 almost every day to go to work and getting expensive getting around 19 mil/gal or less.

Do you have any idea of what could be the cause of this probleme ? My father is a mecanic and he told me that the speed sensor look like it was going to fall off. I told him it was working fine, so we just used some glu to hold it there, but he never really checked the car. Could that be the probleme ?

She is suppose to give me the car next year and I don't want her to put to much money in it, because I want to do an engine swap.

Thankx

A speed sensor would do it... it could also be the transmission going too.... Maybe the shift solenoids, but id check the speed sensor first.....

check your TPS adjustment. do a search in articles I believe there is one that covers it. if it is sending incorrect voltages to the TCM it wont shift right. but you should have codes stored either in ECM or TCM
