I'd consider the mileage on your Z and it's general condition when making your choice- my '90 NA was at 200K when an old style injector went south, and with what turned out to be only 235K in her, the best decision was what I made: replacing it at the lower cost with a new, old style injector.
If your Z is at 100K-ish miles and in good condition, I'd say it's worth the extra costs upgrading to the new style which are mostly from having to upgrade the fuel line setup for the new style injectors or buying the adapter kit for the old style fuel lines and new injectors, plus the installation which involves removing the intake plenum. As mentioned the new style are safe with the ethanol in today's fuel.
