1992 Maxima Turn signal problem

My turn signals only work intermittently. All the lights come on but they do not blink. I bought a part from AUTO Zone but could not find it under the dash...Any help would be appreciated.

What part are you trying to find? The combination flasher unit?

Thanks for the diagram. It must be the flasher unit. How much of the dash do I have to tear apart to get to it. Thanks Bruce

I would also check the hazard light button, if that gets disconnected in any way it will cause the turn signals to not work. That one is pretty easy to get to as well, just 4 or 5 screws if I remember correctly for the large plastic piece that goes around the radio and you'll have access.
