1992 Maxima Passenger Door Stuck Shut

The passenger door is stuck shut on my 1992 Maxima SE. The door latch properly elevates when I use the door key to unlock the doors, but the door will not open. Is there a way to remove the interior door panel of the front passenger door with the door closed?
