1992 Maxima and M30 Shocks/Struts

I posted a question (concerning shock interchangeability) on the 240 forum because I thought the M30 and 240 were the same car but a friend to me that the Maxima and the M30 in that era were the same. I did read on Wikipedia that the M30 shares suspension with the Maxima, but I wan to make sure that the non-electronic shocks from a Maxima will work on my M30.
