Hey guys, I'm still having some trouble with my KA24DE as you can see.

The first problem is that my idles at about 1400RPM. I'd like my idle to be about 700 (Factory spec according to my hood) I've removed the emissions from the vehicle and have three vacum lines left over. One to my fuel pressure regulator which shouldn't be a problem. The other two are open but I have them plugged, one from my idle air control valve (which I have plugged with a socket wrench until I can think of what to do with it) and one comming from the collector (Same as above, plugged until I can think of what to do with it.) I had an idea to turn the screw on the idle air control valve until is was completly closed but the screw seems to be cover in epoxi.

Anyhow, I want my idle at about 700rpm like I said before. Is there anyone else here who has removed their emissions that has some helpful insight?

Now to my real problem. My engine has an automatic transmission and it won't shift. I can change to Park, Drive, etc... and it will act as it should but when I do the whole car jump as if it wants to take off in that direction. (I'm guessing this is because of the high idle?) The main problem is when I'm driving, the car won't shift gears. It just stays in first gear and continues to inscrease in RPM. Regardless of what I do it won't shift. This problem is strange because the car shifted when I bought the car but since I've been working on it, its stopped.

The first thing I thought was transmission fluid but I checked and it's full. I know nothing about transmissions and don't know what it could be.

I checked the ECU and its throwing me a 12- mass air flow sensor circuit and 34-Knock sensor. My mass air flow sensor connector is a little managled so I have to giggle until it gets a good connection. I replaced the knock sensor like... forever ago. I have no clue why its still throwing me that code.

Thanks for any help guys.

Here a couple pictures of my vaccum lines, I highlighted them. I don't have them plugged in these pictures.

In this picture you can see the vaccum line I used for the fuel regulator.

The green in the pictures below is supposed to hook into the air intake I think but if I don't have that vaccum blocked; my idle is like 2000+ RPM.
