Ill try to make this as short and as detailed as I can. The car didnt use to do this, problem is I cant remember exactly when it started, its been doing it for a good 2 weeks. When I floor the car it hesistates big time.. it reminds me of what it feels like when you heat soak a 1g.. this is how the power band acts when you floor the car. 1-3k rpm car acts fine. 3-5 u can feel the power loss, its like the ecu is retarding timing. 6-7 back to normal, acceleration puts you slightly back in the seat. The car is stock with the exception of a cone intake(airbox removed), 3" straight pipe and 3" cat-back. When the hesitation started I changed the plugs and ignition wires, inspected the cap and rotor, they both looked good so I left them in there. Please, please help me.

check your MAF. this is a good place to start on any driveability issue, do a quick search for testing MAF and you should get quite a few hits. If that checks out, come back here with results.

MAF is good, not the problem.
