1992 240SX Convertible: Power Windows Closing Automatically!!!

I have a 1992 240SX Convertible that has been exhibiting some strange behaviour with the drivers side power window. I'm driving down the road and all of a sudden the power window closes on it's own. When I try to bring it back down it goes right back up. Usually when this happens, the window will go up a bit and then stop and then a second later it will continue to close and then it might stop for a sec, then it continues to close. I have tried knocking on the interior door panel when this happens, but it still continues to close.

unplug the switch and see if it keeps happening.
