Anybody have any suggestions on what to do after the five speed swap as far as aftermarket parts?

Ok i dont usually flame ppls build threads but there is a reason ppl spend money on SRs. Its not to be "JDM" as you say but its because the SR is actually built for turbo. It can handle more boost and be more reliable with more boost than a KA. SR's have stronger internals than a KA. I have no problem with a boosted KA. Its more logical because its a 2.4 rather than a 2.0 but just know you have a ticking time bomb just like if you boosted a honda engine. So before you start blasting SR's maybe you should do some reasearch. I wasnt gonna say anything but then you asked if you boosted car should be auto or manual.

Other than that keep up the good work it has potential.

no big man, i know sr's have stronger internals, i just like KA's...im still considering if i should boost it or not...but yea its coming along ok. manual transmission swap is coming along good so far, i just need a good thread with detail on wiring so the car "thinks" its in neutral and so my lights work and stuff.

RHD conversions just seem like way too much work to drive on the opposite side, dont get me wrong, I would like a rhd car... but it would already have to be like that.

lol and you were just blasting ppl for trying to be so JDM. RHD is the definition of JDM. But yea search around there are tons of threads on the wiring its not hard. i took all the automatic wiring out of my car using the FSM so now its wired just like a manual would be.

Nobody is hating you are the one who said they would rather blow up a KA than be all JDM and get a SR and then you want to go RHD. There is nothing wrong with going RHD but just understand there is nothing more "wanting to be JDM tight" than going RHD. It serves no practical purpose other than to say my car is just like the ones in japan

Well not everyone is a tool either. There's other reason to stuff to your car other than it being jdm and there's nothing wrong with not wanting an sr20 but wanting rhd.

I say everyone raise up off this guys nuts.... The jegs sticker yeah it's different but why freak out?

Coming from someone who has an SR.

Don't worry about the KA24DE being turbo, if you do it right then it will be fine.

I love people who comment on threads before they read them. I clearly stated i have no problem with RHD do what you do. I would prob do it if i had the money just to be different. The only problem i had was that he basically blasted ppl for owning SRs because they:

I was trying to point out how hypocritical he was being by blasting the SR and then going RHD.

Like i said before ppl buy SRs because they are designed to have a turbo. The internals are designed from the factory to withstand the stress from boosting. KAs are not. KA boosted=Russian roulette. If I was going to build an engine and boost it i would go KA but stock KA-T vs SR20det. Sr wins in reliabilty every time.

Yeah sorry I clearly came off as an ***hole and I didn't mean it to be that way. Just everyone was up this dudes a** about everything. He wasn't really blasting the sr though the only thing he said is that he thinks the KA is a stronger block, which in a sense you're comparing iron to aluminum but I myself think the sr is more reliable just because of d!ck heads that don't know how to boost the ka. I am in no way a fanboy because I'd love to do ka-t but sr is the easy, cheaper, and reliable way to approach the whole deal. But I'm getting off topic so let the build updates flow!
