1992 240sx automatic relacement

The transmission burned up on my kids car, 1992 240sx automatic. Are there any other replacements that can go in the car? maybe from different models. they want $1600 to rebuild it and I piiad 1500 for the car a year or so ago, If I can find a wreck I could swap stuff out. Financing is limited. It has to be an automatic, She can't drive a stick yet, but we are workin on it.Heres my ride and yes its a stick

I'm in Central/Easten New Jersey, If you wanna make a trip I can get you a transmission for cheap. I have an auto out of a 1990 s13 that's in decent shape, and will soon have an auto out of a 1994 convertible as soon as I pull the engine out. I am pretty sure all the transmission's on the s13 were the same, so the choice is yours.
