1992 240sx ( AT transmission in safe mode of some sort)?

seems like my 1992 240sx SE auto transmission seems 2 b stuck in 3rd , there was a stuck valve of some sort so i did i transmission service and flushed the transmission with sea foam .. (the car sat for like 2yrs before i did a transmission service bc it wasnt shifting till real high rpm and now it seems 2 b stuck in 3rd or something while in the D postion.. all other postions work properly , example: R, 1, 2 ... do i have 2 reset the ECU or something .. the car has never had a transmission problem.. the car drives fine cept for this..

stuck in 3rd is usually an indicator of failsafe. this could mean the tcm is inop. most of the time i find a blown fuse to power up the tcm causing this. have you checked fuses?
