I had a slight timing issue with my car for a little while now, more of an annoyance than anything. I tried to fix it by adjusting my timing a few degrees and it just got worse. So i started from scratch and reset the timing to TDC as per this posts instructions.zerothread?id=161707

I had previously set my timing without problems using this procedure. The Spark Plugs are wet with fuel. I have also tested each plug and they all get good spark. My battery has started to die now so i have to get a charger before i can work at this some more. I dont have a timing light available to me either. I have even tried setting the timing to where it was when the car worked, no change. When i turn the key It starts to turn over but there is no combustion. Or, there will be one 'pop' then nothing. Any ideas on how i can correct this? I ran a search but found only a few related articles that were slightly different problems, and no answers for my situation.

Probably 180 degrees off. Pull and try again.

Allright, so have the rotor in line with the #4 plug instead?

Got it fixed, had to set it about 5 different times before it turned over and started. Thanks.
