What is this worth? It has never seen winter...it is clean clean clean. I bought from second owner who bought it when it was six years old. She kept the engine as clean as the car...it looks brand new. Any prices???????????

Thank you, torirae

OK here she is just got her home and what a maiden voyage one to and will remember how about a vote and a guess what I paid....hope you enjoy more pics to come....

i just checked the kelley blue book value and it's about $4000. i think this car should be worth more, eventually. i paid $2500 for mine, but i don't know how many miles it had since the engine was replaced. how much did you pay for yours?

Just curious; what came in the limited edition version of the SE, different than just a reg SE?

I'd have to look at it, but I'd say since there is a growing market for vert 240's. If its as clean as you say, I would say $6000 or so. Those KA's have proven reliable for many many more miles than what is on it, and the benefits of a ragtop are legendary among the ladies

limited edition (or LE) because the number of verts were limited. All verts were LE's

Makes sense, but why is it that only certain ones have the badging (writing on side of car)?

would it have anything to do with the year, as u can see the verts were in lower production in some years. maybe that has some play, just my .02

yea i've also noticed mine has the limited edition writing on the side of my car. that should have some significance. as for your question i've seen people on autotrader selling for alot more and had more miles then that. your car seems like a Gem most verts i see including mine are usually always in the 100 thousand miles area. you should be able to get at least 6 or more i would say.

I have yet to see a vert without a spoiler. They may be out there, but in service I have never seen one and I have been working in nissan service since 1995.

all US verts had spoilers, this is true. US cars require a 3rd brake light. Coupes with spoilers have integrated 3rd brake lights. coupes without spoilers have 3rd brake lights that mount inside the rear window (like my old one). Can't mount lights inside the rear window on a vert! so they all had the spoiler. Mine doesn't have a spoiler... but thats just because I removed it. I mean someone here in town has a pignose vert too but they just got in an accident and the shop put a sohc front end on it, it doesn't mean it came that way.

my car looks exactly likes your car, cept it doesnt say limted edition on the side. but i think it's because the whole car was painted not too long ago. there also arent any rear decals on it saying "nissan" and 240sx" people will come up to me and ask what kind of car it is cause they think it's a nice looking car. and they are. yay

I get asked what kind of car it is EVERY DAY (I removed all the emblems). Even at 240 meets I get questions... "is that a 240... did you do it yourself.. " etc

Mine doesnt have any emblems either. I get the same questions. Today I was at my sons school picking him up. Top down finally after all the rain we have had. Anyhow I roll up next to this car with a couple kids in the back, I can hear them talking to each other pretty loud and then I hear "LOOK AT THAT COOL CAR" I hear it again a couple more times as she tells the other kids in the car and they repeat it to their mom. I look up and they are all starin at my car. I just gave the kids a big smile and a wave as I found a spot to park. Kinda cool to get that respect from the younger crowd considering the car is more then 10yrs old.

The other perk to owning this car is driving around in this area.

Although the sun seems to be a bit brighter in the vert.

Yeah my vert has been turning heads since I got it from virginia a few months back. I went to the bank one day and there were these guys in a beamer in the next line. They were flirting with they girls at the bank. When I pulled up the girls eyes lit up. They completely stopped talking to the guys in the beamer and started asking me about my car. I also don't have any emblems on the car so they were asking what kind of car it was also.
