1991 S13 Transmission Leak - Royal Purple Black

I recently changed the fluid on my SR trans and motor and added some ATP AT-205 to both. Also, I changed out my J30 LSD gasket and installed an ABS driveshaft (shorter than non abs) to release some tension off the transmission. I had a minor leak coming down the front of the transmission before doing the work. After doing the work I noticed a faster leak, a couple ounces a day which then slows after not running it for a day. I changed the transmission fluid with Royal purple and noticed the leaking transmission fluid is black.

Two questions:
Is it normal for Royal Purple trans fluid to turn black after driving less than 100 miles?
Has anyone had any luck with ATP AT-205?

The ATP AT-205 claims that it will stop most seal leaks after operating for 5 hours. I've probably gone half that time without any improvements. If anything the leak got worse.

So the ATP AT-205 didn't work to fix the front transmission seal leak. The Royal Purple/AT-205 combo probably cleaned out much of the varnish, buildup, and sludge inside the trans which is my assumption as to why the Royal Purple leaked out black. Also the leak got worse do the trans fluid change. Now it looks like I need to pull the trans and replace the seal since this did not work.
