I recently took my Q to an idependant shop to get fixed. The guy said my MAF wire had a short and my MAF needed to be replaced. I got the MAF from Joe and the shop put on another wire. Well when i drove it home the car stalled and on the computer display it stated low battery voltage. When tried to start it , it took a long time to turn over. Before i took it to the independent shop i had Sears load test the bettery (interstate) and amp test the alternator which passed with flying colors.

Welcome to NICO, nomo.

Hard to tell from your brief account what it could be, but if you put your car at the mercy of "indpendent" and national shops that have no particular knowledge of the G50, your car will not last very long nor likely ever perform very well.

Why don't you take it to a G50 trained senior technician like

http://www.jerrytucker.net ?

No mention of your timing chain guides or other maintenance, especially on the fuel and intake side.

I would definitely check fuel pressure.

I recently had a new fuel pump, sending unit, gas tank and fuel filter installed. The fuel pressure was checked and was deemed ok. The guides were replaced before my aftermarket warrenty ran out in 2-2000 at 114,000 miles. I now have 202,000. Oh by the way i had jerry install 8 new injectors that i supplied in 6/2004.

The hard restart is significant. Usually the restart after a stall is quick and clean. Did it feel flooded? Any smoke, odd idle on the restart?
