On the passenger's side of the engine bay, do you remove the fuel lines that go over the cover that contains the plugs?

I need to know before I start to take them off. While I'm waiting for a response, I'll take off the cover.

Up to you whether you do that, not necessary. But since the fuel filter gets changed as a part of 60k service most do after relieving the system pressure.

Thank you Dennis! I left them in place. The fuel filter is only a year old.

OH MY GOD you leave the filter in that long..........no wonder so many fuel injector /pump problems.......kidding [somewhat] but cutting them open shows that the don't really appreciate recirculating 800-1000 gallons of dirty gasoline.I change mine at least once per year sometimes twice. Since I am on my 3rd fuel pump now and it has 33k on it now.
