Welcome to NICO Priscilla from the other side of the Sacramento river. You've come to the right place to read up on your new Q. How many miles and how does she run? The factory service manual (FSM) for 90-93 Q's is not available online but you may get lucky and find an owner's manual here or in the parts forum.

At this point it might be easiest for you to drive over to Ninfiniti Auto Recyclers on Recycle Road (off south Sunrise Blvd) in Rancho Cordova. The last time I was there they had a stack of owner's manuals and factory service manuals (FSM's). Go there with a list of small parts that you may need and act sweet, naive and broke (that's what I do) and they'll give you a good deal.

Are you a Yolo County Employee? Did you know my cousin Glenn Dinnie who worked there up until about 5 yrs. ago?

Nice to meet you Mike...I was hoping you would be my first contact..Patrick at Infinity Sacramento said you were the man to talk too. He definately has a high respect for your knowledge and experience with the Inifinity's.I was beginning to think that I wouldn't even be able to find a silly owners manual...but thanks to to you I am feeling alot better. Can't wait to either call that place or go there..I actually think that I might have driven past there yesterday on a trip to a dismantlers yard..but they were closed.A friend of mine stopped by, truck driver going thru..said he needed to go to pull-a-part to retrieve a starter for an older Mazda to help his ex. out...anyway...wanted to go to..now that I have my almost perfect baby.Bought it a couple of weeks ago and have been trying since then to figure her outI love her...I actually feel lucky and pampered..she is my first fully loaded auto..my favorite is the seat and steering wheel settings...how sweet of her to know that I need that little extra room to get my short legs out(lol) I know that most people these days have had new cars their whole lives...not me..always used and mostly abused(looked good but didn't always get me to my destination. She is that cool white color with white leather interior(need dome light insert and cover and driver door handle is loose and I can't get into my glovebox yet.(lol)) other than that she is pretty much perfect. Can't get my clock to work yet...who needs to be on time anyway? your car is a beaut..and what a great color. Had her smogged Sat. and the guy told me she's about as perfect as you can get Has 187,000 and boy does she have some get up and go!No, I just started with the county last month..don't know anyone. Well have to go to bed now...I am old and need my brain rest for work in the morning...I bet you wish'd you had not answered my e-mail, huh? Too late now.... have a million more questions if you don't mind? Have a great day tomorrow!

Well..I can't seem to figure out my clock for starters...then there is my locked for ever glove box...cruise control? never had a fully loaded car before so I am like "a babe in the woods..."Just found out where I can get an owners manual that should help some...the one thing I do enjoy....having enough power when I need it...love my 1991 Q45..

I've been chatting Patrick up for the past couple of years and he gives me a healthy discount on parts whenever I come in. It's good to see he's referring owners of the older Infiniti's to NICO rather than playing dumb and sending them to the service manager. Too bad we can't get him to join since we could use an Infiniti parts counter guy in the club.

If your Q passed smog you can bet that it is running well. If you had even one marginal injector or a bad O2 sensor it would have failed. Good find. I probably have some of the parts you mentioned so I'm sending you an email.
