1991 Q passenger window regulator

I was just driving down the road and my passenger window fell down. This is the window regulator that has gone out right? I'm sure that there are other posts like this but I didn't have much success with the search feature. Is there a way to fix this without ordering all of the new parts? Thanks for all help

Common to fail, not common to fall. Disassemble and check the mounting bolt nuts.

The sliding bar of the regulator is mounted to the bottom of the window with 2 bolts. These may have come loose or the cable may have broken. Either way you're going to have to remove the regulator and take a look at it to determine what's gone wrong.

I took it apart and it looks like it's the 2 plastic pieces at the top and the bottom of the cable. Would Joe have the replacement parts? What is the part called?

I think you're going to end up having to buy the whole regulator, minus the motor. The white plastic part (retainer?) on the cable ends is a common break area. Were all 4 were broken or just one?

Just the front passenger window. It looks like the piece at near the top broke and also the piece that connects the cable to the window going up. The motor will roll the window down fine but will not catch the window going up.

I double checked the parts book and you cant get just the little plastic piece.

Check the classifieds for a used one, but apparently the new ones are an updated style that have metal retainers on the top instead of plastic.
