1991 nissan pickup (no spark) new module and new distributor

I own a 1991 nissan pickup i think its a ka24 with k&n ,msd 6al and a blaster ss coil the engine it was running fine then one day i turned it off and it wouldnt start i left it till later in the evening and it started. i tried and the same next day. started fine then wouldnt start for prolly and hour or more until everything cooled down i guess so today i replaced the distributor and the power transistor i think thats what its called i have checked and i have no signal going to my msd box is there anybody who has an idea of whatrs going on or some tests that i can perform to solve this mystery. maybe a wiring diagram of the engine bay i dunno im stuck thank you in advance
