Ok, befor eyou get mad at me....I searched. There was some info, but I need to know for sure.

I have set my 22re 4runner and 4cyl Nissan trucks by using a multimeter and getting the resistance to spec. No problems. I get that.

My issues is that My Chilton's guide says 2 different things. For the 4cyl it says to adjust it with a multimeter and describes it as I have done tps's before.

Well when it comes to explain the 3.0 V6 it says you need to check the on-off cycle and that it should be 400-600rpms. WHat the hell do I use to check that?

If it is like checking a 4cyl and that is just a typo...what are the propper measurements that I am looking for?

I assume from my searches that I would want:

Idle: 0.4-0.6 WOT: at least 3.8

Is this correct???

Thanks So much.

Check the voltage on the white wire with the key in the on position. Should be around .4 to .5 volts at idle position. Make sure you warm it to operating temp before you set it. You can set it with the car not running, just have the key in the on position.
